Nada Yoga | Music & Dance

A mantra is a mathematically organized sound pattern
that has a deep impact on the system. -Sadhguru

Nada Yoga means, using sound and vibration as a path to inner awakening. The word “Nada” means sound — the subtle vibration believed to underlie all creation. When you practice Nada Yoga, sound becomes the bridge between the body, mind, and consciousness.

Through Music, dance, mantra chanting, breath, and deep listening, practitioners tune into both external and the subtle inner sound.

Benefit of Nada Yoga

  • Calm the nervous system

  • Improve concentration

  • Balance emotions

  • Deepen meditation

  • Harmonize energy centers

He later embraced the violin as his primary instrument, earning numerous awards at school, college, university, and nationallevel competitions. By age fifteen, he was already performing for Radio and Television, gaining early recognition for his talent and discipline. His musical foundation was shaped profoundly under the guidance of Padmabhushan Pt. V. G. Jog, one of India’s most celebrated violinists. Now based in Sacramento, Ravi continues to perform, teach, and share the richness of Indian classical music with the community.

Dilip Karki - Vocal

Dilip Karki is passionate about music. He sings different genres and enjoys playing the guitar. He has been performing for audiences since his teens. He has been associated with Isha and Sounds of Isha since the past 10 years. He loves to explore music and collaborate with other musicians to create new music.

Amit - Percussion

Amit is a self-taught percussionist and devoted meditator with the Isha Foundation, inspired deeply by sounds of nature. What began with a small djembe has grown into a soulful exploration of diverse percussion instruments. I am the co-founder of San Francisco Indian Music Meetup group and an active member of "Sounds of Isha". A cherished milestone was offering my first major stage performance for my guru, Sadhguru. Through rhythm, I seek to share devotion, stillness, and joy.

Saroj Nagaraj - Vocal

Sarojh Nagaraj is a multidimensional classical artist and legal professional who seamlessly bridges tradition and modernity.

Rooted in Carnatic music as a disciple of Shri T.N. Arunagiri, and trained in Bharatanatyam under Padma Bhushan awardee Smt. Saroja Vaidyanathan, she embodies artistic depth and discipline.

As an attorney, painter, and committed practitioner of yoga and meditation through Isha Yoga, she integrates intellect, creativity, and mindfulness into a cohesive life path.

Anushka Karki - Bharatnatyam

A dedicated practitioner of Bharatanatyam for 7-8 years, Anushka is an accomplished dancer who has performed extensively, including in full-length dance productions. Saranya Kondamuru - Bharatnatyam

Saranya Kondamuru is a dedicated Bharatanatyam practitioner and a freshman at Homestead High School. Her journey in this ancient South Indian classical dance began at age seven, following a serendipitous meeting with her Guru, Chitra Venkataramani, during a traditional Ganesha-making workshop. Since enrolling on the auspicious day of Vijayadasami that same year, Saranya has transformed a childhood hobby into a profound artistic passion. Under her Guru’s guidance, she continues to explore the discipline, rhythm, and storytelling of the art form, balancing her academic life with her commitment to preserving this timeless tradition.

Chao - Piano

Chao began her piano journey at the age of six and developed a lifelong passion for music as she grew up. She previously taught many students at a piano school in Fremont, sharing her love of piano with young learners.
